In this workshop participants will build a working replica Siege Catapult for a fun target game. The catapult will fire paper balls as missiles and participants will use cardboard and papercraft to make targets for the game.
Facilitated by Stuart Lawn, the online session will give an overview of the engineering and physics behind catapults and will inspire children to get creative with their target designs.
We will post out a kit to your address and email you a link to watch the instructional workshop on YouTube. Please try and complete the workshop before June 12th.
We kindly ask that you capture some short video clips of the finished catapult in action with your targets. We will use these clips to create a promo video for use online on Saturday June 12th which is Cruinniú na nÓg National Day of Creativity. Please either email to
stu@fablabmh.org or WhatsApp to 087-628-6808.
