https://bit.ly/36RNm2L3. PLAYER ELIGIBILITY: All Players Must be Current USPA Members with a USPA Outdoor Handicap; All Players must use a USPA-specified NOCSAE helmet at all times while mounted on a horse, involved in the games of this tournament.
4. TEAM ENTRY FEE: upon submission of this registration form, a link will appear to pay team registration fee. It can be paid in one full payment. Entry Fee: ($1,600/Team w WPC Member; $3,200/Team w/o WPC Member). Entry Fee includes: Tournament matches (Each team will play a minimum of 3 games to determine finalists); BBQ at Finals/Consolation; hospitality tent at all matches.
5. TEAM ELIGIBILITY: Total Handicap of Team Must = 0-2 Goals (Outdoor Handicap)
6. PRIZE MONEY & AWARDS: $2500 Prize Money and winner's trophies will be awarded to the Winning team; MVP and Best Playing Pony will be awarded.
7. DRAW: A live random Draw of teams for their respective opening rounds will be live-streamed on Newport Polo’s Facebook fan page, tentatively on FRI, 7/14 at 7:30pm.
8. LOCATION: All tournament rounds will be played at the Westchester Polo Club tournament fields in Newport County, Rhode Island.
9. CONDITIONS: Optional tournament condition for USPA Outdoor Rule 2D (p170 Rule Book, X). All games are 4 chukkers in duration.
10. UMPIRE HORSE REQUIREMENT: Each team must provide horses for 1 umpire in all games played by said team.
Once registrations are received, the Tournament Committee will review and send notification by email to the Team Captain that registration was received and the team is confirmed/wait listed.
