Yes you read that correctly! After several years of a hiatus, we are bringing back a limited number of summer camps for 2024. We are offering 3 legacy youth camps with an emphasis on learning about the animals here, thier healthcare, and learning how the sanctuary works through fun, hands on activities. We will also have traditional camp arts and crafts, fun and games!
Details, agendas and camp staff introductions will be avilable mid February. Camps will be capped at 16 campers to ensure a personalized and inclusive experience for all! Camps are mixed age appropriate for kids in 1st grade up and groups are established to make sure the experience is customized for the age ranges. Camp leader Amy has extensive school based knowledge with PGCPS and can help with additional learning and behavioral accomodations as well. Camp director Tara has over 20 years of summer camp teaching experience and is excited to bring cap back for the summer of 2024!

These are NOT horseback riding camps. Please make sure you understand that! Campers will have ample hands on time with the animals, daily, but there is NO RIDING INSTRUCTION included in these Legacy Camps.

$100 non refundable registration per week
$400 camp fee per week
$50 discount per camp for multiple camp weeks booked
Hours 9 to 3 (before and after care available for additional fee)
Before care available from 7:30 to 9
Aftercare available from 3 to 5
Families will can also request payment plans for no additional fee!
