The IMPACT National Conference is planned by a team of volunteers who apply to be a part of the behind-the-scenes action. Subcommittees are the heart of planning for the conference, and subcommittee members pull a lot of the planning weight. Our conference team is made up of these subcommittees:

A committee member can expect to participate in about three planning meetings per month and spend up to three hours per week on conference planning work outside of meetings. The amount of time spent will depend slightly on the committee you are on and how close to the conference we are. Committee members will also be asked to arrive early to the conference location to assist with just-in time set-up and logistics tasks. Throughout the conference planning process, committee members will primarily be working with the committee chair as their main point-of-contact.

A Note on Conference Location and Date: Our Board of Directors is in the final stages of securing a conference host and date range. The plan is for the conference to occur in-person in February 2023.
