Hi there! We are so glad that you are interested in volunteering with the RVCC Worship Ministry! There are many opportunities to serve on the worship team from playing an instrument to running the sound board so there is definitely something for everyone.

  • Sound: This person is responsible for adjusting volumes on the sound board throughout the worship music and the message.
  • Vocals: Vocalists on the worship team have the option to lead songs or provide supporting vocals depending on the song and comfort level.
  • Instrument(s): Instrumentalists provide essential support to vocalists during worship

We have worship rehearsal Thursday evenings to prepare for Sunday morning worship that lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. Are you typically available on Thursday evenings?

What's next?
I will be reaching out to you in the next week or so to discuss options and set up a time to review our worship team values and expectations with you. If you are an instrumentalist or vocalist, I'll set up a time with you to hear a bit of your playing/singing to make sure it is a good fit. Then, I will invite you to join us for part of a Thursday night rehearsal to get an idea of how practice typically flows.
