Kiwi Competitions pre- registration Form
This form is to be completed by parents of any Y5/6 or Y7/8 children who are wanting to do the Kiwi Competition academic exams. The school is funding participation in these in the areas of English, Mathematics and Science. We will complete registrations online from this information provided in this pre-registration form. Further details about the competitions are listed below:


The University of Canterbury is delighted to offer the 2021 Kiwi Competitions for Primary, Intermediate and Secondary schools.

The competitions are written by New Zealand teachers for New Zealand students and are based on the New Zealand curriculum.

Certificates will be provided for all participating students, and the top student for each competition will receive a prize. Certificates  will be presented at assembly.

An Individual Student Report will also be provided for Parents/Caregivers. This report outlines the student’s overall performance as well as their level of completion and accuracy for each section of the competition.

The competitions will run online in the last 3 weeks of Term 2 and the first week of Term 3 at a time suitable to our school.
