Camp is August 6,7,8 and 9 2023 Please only fill out this form for yourself and your own family. We require that one parent attend with their children. There are only 8 cabins, which means that you either will get a cabin, can bring a tent or an RV, or sleep in the Gymnasium. The cabins are not air conditioned and get EXTREMELY hot in the summer. We ask that everyone bring electric fans. There are heated showers. We run low on life jackets, boats, and canoes, bringing these will help the camp immensely. Also bottled water and ice are always needed. People ask if they should bring white children. Every year we have children of all races. However the limit is 100 kids this year. We want the kids to have a Black experience. Please understand that. Every white child in the state is constantly surrounded by white faces. Black children never get to be surrounded by 100 other Black children. However last year we had two white children, some Latinx children, and some Asian children also. The camp is located in Logan Utah. We allow ages 7-17. All volunteers must be background checked. We do not allow YOU to provide a background check. We use Backtrack screening to conduct the background check and it costs $25 per background check. We do not background check parents, we background check volunteers.
