Summer Opportunities Fair

The Summer Opportunities Fair is an outdoor community
event at Azalea Park which provides a venue for parents and children to learn
about available summer programs. The
fair presents a wide range of local programs, camps, and summer study
opportunities for kids of all ages in academic and cultural enrichment, outdoor
adventures, sports, community service, and volunteer programs.
The camps and programs represented at the fair are independent
organizations that may not be affiliated with the Wakulla County Public Library. No endorsement by the Wakulla County Public
Library concerning exhibitor offerings is expressed or implied unless regarding
programs presented by the Wakulla County Public Library.
Exhibitor Information
The Summer Opportunities Fair allows only one 10x20ft booth space per
organization. Exhibitors will need to
provide everything needed for their booth, tent, table, chairs, signage,
etc.
Guidelines
· The purpose of this event is to promote available
summer reading programs in the immediate area.
We expect all exhibitors to offer professional and tasteful presentation
and to show respect to the other exhibitors and event attendees.
· Set-up for the event will be the morning
of. We do not recommend setting up your
booth and leaving it unattended. Please
have your exhibit set up and staffed by 9:45am.
The fair will be open to the public from 10am-3pm. Please plan to stay the full length of the fair
to ensure the best experience and exposure for your organization.
· The event will take place rain or shine unless
there is a major weather event in which case notification of cancellation will
be made via phone call to registered exhibitors and social media platforms for
attendees.
· Bring plenty of brochures and other marketing
materials.
· NO raffles, hawking, obtrusive giveaways, helium-filled
balloons, confetti, dangerous program equipment or other means of attracting
undue attention.
· Exhibitors using audio equipment must keep the
volume at a level that will not disturb other exhibitors.
· We do not anticipate any problems with our exhibitors. We include these guidelines to ensure a good
experience for all exhibitors, guests, and volunteers. Thank you again for your careful attention to
these details.
For the 2023 Summer Opportunities Fair, we will offer a
maximum of 40 exhibitor booths. If all slots
fill, we will place additional exhibitors on a wait list and call them in order
received if there are cancellations.
