Long-Term Independent Study Interest Form
Senate Bill 130 requires that all school districts offer families an alternative to in-person schooling for AY 2021-22.  This alternative is Long-Term Independent Study (LTIS) and will involve daily live interaction with a credentialed teacher.  Parents who wish to enroll their kids in LTIS will need to commit their student/s to this program for 15 or more days and must participate in a conference (may be virtual) with the teacher before the start of the year.  Additionally, a written agreement must be signed.  Note that your school placement may change.  You have the right to move back to in-person instruction at any time subject to the reentry provisions in the contract.  We cannot guarantee that you will have the same teacher when you return, unfortunately.
For more information about the program, reference the email that accompanied this link. Thank you!
