How to be a genius!
Anyone can become a genius!  Why is being a good observer and listener a pathway towards intelligence?
Why is the observer generally going to go farther in life than the attention seeker?
How can picking up on patterns  help you "see the field" and "find for the gap"?
What does being "under control" have to do with intelligence?
What does impulse control have to do with long term success?
What does self discipline have to do with noticing yourself, learning, getting better and finding solutions?
Why do you think intelligent people are more curious than others?  What are some things you're curious about?
What do intelligent people do when they have some space in their day to "be alone"?
What does the ability to deeply focus on things you like have to do with intelligence?
What's the power of "creative clutter" when it comes to creativity?  Why is creativity associated with intelligence?
Why is the ability to make connections between what we're talking about now and what you've learned in the past a sign of intelligence?  What makes a creative and flexible problem solvers?
What makes an emotionally intelligent arguer and why is that important?
What is "Infomania" and what does the amount of time you spend on your phone have to do with developing intelligence?
Disregard the "twisted sense of humor" part, it just means that the person can take wide and varied perspectives while separating out and joining together contradictory ideas.  It's busy in there.

Why can confusion and uncertainty be enjoyable and what might that have to do with intelligence?
Which of these characteristics do you need to improve upon to make yourself "smarter" and what does this have to do with being a good swimmer?
Now let's get to a little backstroke starting with the shoulders and hip rotation:
It's important that you don't take your elbow too far down into the water, you need to keep a straight line from your elbow through both shoulders to set up the pull.
"Counter-Rotation" is when one shoulder is going up and the other is going down.
Why is shoulder rotation so important in backstroke?
How does counter-rotation work as a lever?
Why is head stability important?
We've got the same swimming machine as we did before with lungs (buoyancy) hips (mass) and arms and legs as we do in freestyle.  Think of your head and chest hanging own from your spine (the bridge) into the water, and your knees bend down into the water, too.
But now your lungs and your head aren't hanging down, they are on top of the bridge, and when you knees bend, they bend up above the water instead.
How does your body position feel different when you are swimming on your back instead of on your front and what do you need to do to get balanced  (and get your hips up) that's different?
Why does your flutter kicking ability matter more in backstroke than it does in freestyle?
Do you want your hands to enter right above your head or at your "railroad tracks"?  Why?
6 Beat Kick Timing, dance!!
The body rotation is the down beat, so it's twice per cycle, RIGHT-two-three LEFT-two-three, and there's a kick that fires every time your hand enters the water, and then kicks two and three happen at the top and bottom of your pull.  WALTZING!  Play the video again and do the 6 beat waltzing dance!
