2021-2022 CLSA Sponsor Application
Thank you for your interest in becoming a CLSA Sponsor!

The primary role of a CLSA Sponsor is to help new Latinx students successfully transition into college life.  CLSA Sponsors serve as an invaluable resource to first-year Latinx students across the 5Cs.  They promote academic excellence and instill a strong sense of community.

Expectations: CLSA Sponsors are expected to be in constant contact with their Sponsees, as well as plan community-building events throughout the academic year.  CLSA Sponsors are also expected to participate in the mandatory CLSA Sponsor Summer Training, which takes place the week leading up to the first day of classes (August 23-27th, 2021); the CLSA New Student Retreat (tentatively scheduled for Sept 3-5th); as well as maintain ongoing check-in meetings with the Deans throughout the academic year.

To be an eligible applicant, you must meet the GPA qualification:
Required cumulative GPA:   2.5  or 7.5
Preferred cumulative GPA:   3.0 or  9.0
