Who will have access to my electronic personal file?

Only authorised staff from the Cambridge Folk Festival team will be able to view documents. The files are structured into different document types and staff are only able to access documents that are relevant to their role.

How is my personal data protected?

All data is held on Google Drive. Access to the network and applications received are controlled by only allowing staff involved in the Festival's Apply to Play application are given access. Only authorised users determined by role will have access to the electronic files. The systems used are fully compliant with all Data Protection legislation.

How will new documents be added to my file?

Appropriate documents will be saved or scanned and added to your file by authorised members of staff from the Cambridge Folk Festival team.

What will happen to paper files (if applicable)?

Any paper files will be retained and securely stored until the end of September 2023. The paper files will then be securely destroyed by the company that handles Cambridge City Council’s confidential waste and shredding.
