Data and Technology Management Internship
Summary
As an Information and Data Management Intern for Learning for ALL, you will work alongside mainly with the Data Management Specialist to assist the programming team to focus on the management of data, information, and technology support. You will gain experience working in an educational non-profit, covering every aspect of the information and data cycle including but not limited to organizing documents, maintaining data records and information, privacy and confidentiality protection, and inventorying information.
About Learning for ALL
Learning for ALL is a non-profit that assists adults in the community acquire the literacy and language skills they need to achieve their life goals. We improve and connect communities across Omaha by offering small group instruction and one-on-one tutoring in public meeting places closer to students. Our instruction includes English as a Second Language, improving basic literacy skills including reading and writing, and GED preparation. Our services are flexible so that students can learn all day: mornings, nights, and even weekends. Essential Intern Responsibilities
• Shadow programming staff and contribute to the efforts in Learning for ALL
• Learn the Moodle data base system and data entry
• Proctor and manage CASAS online student assessments
• Organize TABE student assessment records
• Learn the WordPress application and update website pages
• Inventory books and maintain online inventory system
• Create informational flyers and assist in creating procedural documents
• Acquaint with various technologies including Windows, Google Docs, etc.
• Assisting in updating computers, implementing anti-viral software, and technological errors
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
• BA/BS degree required or in final year of graduating
• IT support background or previous experience preferred
Required certifications, Training or Background Check Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
• State background checks may be required
Work Hours
• Monday – Thursday as scheduled. Some Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
• A minimal time commitment of 12 hours a week for 3 months.
