Jim and Carolyn Poe were teachers for USD 331 for many years.  Devoted to kids and education, their family dedicated funds to help provide a scholarship for a senior at Norwich High School to pursue his or her education after leaving NHS.  

Primary requirement: Enrolling in a college or vocational school. Preference will be given to education and music majors.

Additional considerations: leadership qualities, extra-curricular participation, and community interest.

Recipient must be an approved graduating senior of Norwich High School.

Recipient must have a GPA of 2.5 or above.

The scholarship will be made directly to the recipient.

The Board of Trustee's will award one $250.00 scholarship each year using interest and principal for as long as funds are available.

Any graduating senior wishing to be considered for this scholarship must make proper application with the High School Counselor.

Application deadline is April 1st.
