Please read the descriptions of the enrichment choices for the 2020-2021 school year. Enrichment classes meet three times in a six day cycle for the entire year.

6th Grade Band (Mrs. Webster): No experience necessary! 6th grade band is a great year to find out whether or not you like to play an instrument; you never know until you try. Our 6th grade band is a "beginning band" meaning anymore can join. You learn how to read music, play a band instrument of you choice, and will perform in three concerts throughout the year. Students who are enrolled in band receive group lessons during the school day. Instruments are rented from a local music company or borrowed from the school (in special circumstances only). Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity! 6th grade band is a full year commitment.

6th Grade Chorus (Ms. Wistrom): Calling all singers! If you love to sing, regardless of experience or ability level, then the Coolidge Middle School 6th grade chorus is for you! You will learn how to sing with good vocal technique, read music, and create fun, high-energy performances in a variety of musical styles. We perform in three concerts throughout the year. 6th grade chorus is a full year commitment.

Band and Chorus Combo: Students may participate in both band and chorus, rehearsing with the band two days/cycle and the chorus one day/cycle. We encourage students to choose this option!
