Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the student engagement team, or Activities Team, at Global Launch! Our volunteer program is made up of highly motivated, service-oriented ASU students who are passionate about sharing language, culture and friendship with Global Launch international students from around the world.

Student volunteers make a HUGE difference in the lives of our students. All GL students are working hard to learn English and become familiar with American culture. This may be their first time in the United States and the challenges of a new campus, country, language and customs can be daunting. This is where our volunteers SHINE as they patiently and genuinely connect with our students at fun, culturally rich activities. You may be the first "American friend" they have.  

Global Launch runs on the ASU academic schedule and offers student activities every 8-weeks during the Spring A/B, Summer and Fall A/B sessions. We do ask that volunteers make a diligent effort to attend activities as frequently and consistently as possible throughout each 8-week commitment. Our students will get to know you by name and will look forward to seeing you!

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but it's best if you apply in advance of an upcoming program entry point if possible. Here are session dates and preferred deadlines:
