Board of Governors Member-at-Large 2019/2020 (Spring)
The EUS is looking for to fill one Member-at-Large position on the Board of Governors. The Board of Governors is the governance body maintaining the legal and financial framework of the EUS. The mandate of the Board of Governors includes reviewing EUS Bylaws and Policies, making impactful financial decisions, and undertaking projects which develop the EUS in the long term. Responsibilities of this position include the attendance of meetings which are generally every 3 weeks, on the weekends, and which last approximately 3 hours. In between meetings, you be required to work on a mandate that you have chosen and which has been approved by the rest of the Board. This mandate can be a short term or long term project, as long as it doesn't encroach upon the portfolio of another EUS position holder (unless you have their permission). The term of the position will start May 1, 2019 and last until April 30, 2020. Applicants must demonstrate a good understanding of the EUS, ideally have relevant past experience, and be a regular member of the EUS as of May 1, 2019.

Please complete and submit this application by Wednesday, April 17th at 11:59pm at the latest! Interviews will take place shortly afterwards.

At the interview, you will be given the opportunity to expand on the points made in your application and provide any additional information you think is relevant.  During this interview, you will be asked some general questions along with some questions specifically related to this position. You will also have a chance to ask any questions that you may have.
