GWL Workshop on Writing an Op-Ed
What makes a good op-ed? If you've got an opinion you're already halfway there! Learn tips and tricks for leveraging both your research and personal background to write compelling, insightful op-ed pieces. This workshop covers how to write a lede, grab attention, and structure your opinion piece. We will also discuss aspects of a successful pitch. Participants who are just learning about this genre or already have drafts of their writing are welcome to attend.
