Fall 2020 Deferral Requests
Important

If you want to submit a deferral request, DO NOT enroll in any fall courses. You will need to submit your SIR (Statement of Intent to Register) as a "Yes" to request a deferral.

A deferral request can be approved only ONCE.  Once your new admission term is set, you cannot request to change it again.

A deferral request can be made for one, two or three quarters (max one year).  UC Davis is on a quarter system. You can check the dates for the quarters on the Registrar's website: https://registrar.ucdavis.edu/calendar/master 

If you have a financial offer, the approval of a deferral request does not necessarily mean a deferral of your funding offer.  Please check in with your faculty advisor about deferring any funding offer you have.
