Royally Fit is a community-based holistic healthcare organization providing solution-based products, programming and services supporting whole body well-being. Royally Fit uses organically grown herbs to small batch blend teas, steam distilling our own essential oils, infusing them into aromatherapy and other wellness supports. We use the profit from the sale of these products to provide health screenings, wellness workshops, food, formula and Narcan distributions in communities that lack equitable access.
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Community Wellness Educator to join the growing team supporting our family owned business!
Under the supervision of the Chief Advocating Officer and Director of Lifestyle Fitness, the Community Wellness Educator is responsible for supporting the Community Wellness Program which will include the following:
Facilitating Royally Fit’s workshops in support of food justice and healthy food access in communities that lack grocery stores.
Assisting in providing community health events/fairs, screenings and educational programs.
Identifying new community partners and maintaining relationships with these partners in assigned areas.
Engaging with community members to discuss benefits of health screenings and programming.
Aiding in the marketing and promotion of community events and programs.
Planning, developing, implementing and evaluating wellness initiatives, programs and events.
Coordinating and managing volunteers participating in the Community Wellness Program.
Supports health screenings during Community Wellness events.
Coordinating and implementing face-to-face education and outreach
Maintains and follows proper protocol for data collection and reporting
Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Most possess or be able to obtain Pennsylvania Child Abuse and FBI Clearances
Reliable transportation; this position requires travel.
Education/Experience:
Public Speaking Skills
Knowledge of health education practices and principles
Ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous events
Must have a passion and commitment to holistic health, food systems and community.
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to communicate through multiple avenues including e-mail, phone, video chat, in-person and/or text
Highly professional interpersonal skills
Comfortable and Capable of engaging with community members using best practices of care and compassion
Willingness to continuously learn and grow through trainings and professional developments
Hourly Pay: $15-$18
