2024 Ruby Ranch Summer Camp Junior Guide Application
Junior Camp Guides are important leaders and role models every camp, so thank you for expressing interest in helping at camps this summer!  Junior guides are ages 12-18 and volunteer for the camp for the week they are assigned. Camps are 2 days/week. Hours are 8:30-4:15. We are a nonprofit so all hours can be applied toward community service hours. While at camp, junior guides lead groups, interact with kids and animals, organize stations and ensure camps run smoothly! They can also complete all the crafts/activities that campers do if they are interested. Please fill out the following application to be a JG at Ruby Ranch this summer! Selected applicants will then receive information about camp availability in the next 2 weeks! Make sure you only apply for camps that you can work all days of the camp (for special circumstances, please email or call to make sure working one day would be allowed).

If this is something that interests you, please fill out this request form for the dates that work best for you to work as a Junior Guide. We typically accept 10 junior guides/camp and try to get people into 1-2 camps for the summer.

We will have a 30 minute intro meeting on Saturday, June 1st at 9:00am. We will provide donuts/fruit and go over a typical day, the layout of the farm, what our schedules look like and where we store important items and answer any questions you or your parents may have. We will also pass out shirts at this time. If you've been a junior guide in the past, it will still be helpful to attend as we have quite a bit of construction going on so all our items will be in different spots this summer.
Will you be able to attend?
