目前，全球面对疫情考验，世界启动了紧急应对模式。美国进入紧急状态，响应号召，留守家中的4、5月，将是人们一生最特别的难忘记忆。

此次大型主题征文活动将忠实记录人们共同走过的这个春天。日升日落、花开花谢都是生活的一场日复一日的轮回，疫情中的居家隔离生活，诗和远方依然疫外芬芳！宅在家里，对生活有情怀的人们会看看书，或写作，把沉积在心里许久的东西做一次整理和安排。居家工作，孩子们上网课，清理一下衣厨，摆弄一下花草后院等等。忠实记录自己和身边的人爱心捐赠，家园的守望相助等等，以柔软的心书写扬在脸上的自信，以细腻的情感描写长在心底的善良，以意蕴隽永的方式表达融进血液里的骨气，对生命的眷念与领悟，还有刻进生命里的坚强。有感而发，以小见大，以“一滴水见大海”，抒发个人情感和胸怀！

The official online contest for the 5th International QiPao Culture Month is kicking off on April 14th, 2020. Currently, many parts of the world has entered into an emergency state facing the global pandemic. Many cities and states in the U.S. issued stay-at-home orders until May. For many people, it would be a unique experience of their lifetime.

This large-scale writing contest is themed around this special spring to summer transition. Many people are currently adjusting to the work from home lifestyle, their kids may be taking online classes. Isolation at home means there are more time to finish put away tasks and develop new hobbies, such as reading, cleaning, baking or writing. Others may experienced kindness from neighbors and local communities in this time of need through donations and help. This contest encourages participants to document their observations, thoughts and anecdotes through the special time period in words, images or even multi-media formats.

此次活动将贯穿整个旗袍文化月。听听旧金山的疫情之外的旗袍、生活故事，岁月如白驹过隙，往事随风，记忆的恬淡静美，或感人肺腑，或遗憾惆怅，或拙朴平易，或波澜壮阔。一张照片，一段故事，点缀当中的旗袍于她们已不仅仅是件华服，更是 “光阴含笑去，冷暖由心来”的记忆。字数不限，参赛人员年龄、性别、地区不限，中英文皆可，欢迎各族裔人们踊跃参加。专家评委分布各地，抽取作品，在线互动、点评，最终评出各类作品奖项。

评奖分成人组（22岁以上）青年组（17岁—21岁）、少年组（8—16岁），分别评奖“一，二，三”名。

形式：文字加图片，其中一部分需要配上旗袍照、生活照，以及短视频作品（2-3分钟短视频，不超过5分钟）。

征文活动解释权归主办方所有，内容请勿涉及政治、暴力、色情等。图文必须原创，如有抄袭嫌疑，主办方保有最终决定权使作者丧失参赛资格。

The duration of contest is from April 14th to May 15th, 2020. There is no word limit. There is no limit on participant age, gender, or area. Chinese or English are welcome. The judges located throughout the areas will review the works online.

Format: Words plus images. Some topic needs QiPao or daily life photos, or short videos (2-3 minutes ideal, no more than 5 minutes).

QiPao Culture Month remains the final right to all explanations regarding contest rules, submissions and judging. Please do not include violence, porn or politics in the content. All submission materials must be original. The organization remain the right to disqualify the participant if there is suspect of plagiarism.
