This is the Wood Lab Certification and Orientation that will get you started on the main power tools located in the Wood Labs. This will also include reviewing and signing the Safety Affidavit on personal protective equipment. Please come wearing closed toed shoes and dressed appropriately for shop work. Some hands on practicum will be included dependent on time, however, additional tool training and instruction can be given based on need / desire.
Once you have completed the Wood Lab Orientation and the Safety Affidavit, you are free to attend Open Lab Sessions in the Fab Lab.

This training is only open to currently enrolled students who are taking at least one class within the College of Built Environments.
