The next Bat1K meeting, "Batellite", is scheduled for Tuesday, 5th of October 2021 at 18.30 CEST.
This meeting will be chaired by Dr. Winifred Frick and Dr. Emma Stone. Dr. Winifred Frick is Chief Scientist at Bat Conservation International and associate research professor in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at UC Santa Cruz. Dr. Emma Stone, senior lecturer at UWE Bristol is founder and director of Conservation Research Africa and of African Bat Conservation. Bat1K is thrilled to announce that Tomas Marques-Bonet will be speaking as well. Tomas Marques-Bonet is an ICREA Research Professor at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and head of the Comparative Genomics group at Institute of Evolutionary Biology (CSIC/UPF) in Barcelona (Spain).
