After you complete this form, you will receive a copy of your answers in an email. PLEASE SAVE THE EMAIL. It will include this contact list. If you do NOT receive a copy of your answers, it means we did not receive your form. You only fill out this form ONE TIME during your studies (not every year).

In the future, we will only send this to FIRST-YEAR scholarship recipients. This year, we ask EVERYONE who is receiving a scholarship for 2022/2023 to complete it.

I agree to spend 10 hours each year volunteering for the Unity Women's Desk and supporting their ministry to women. I understand there will be opportunities to help online or with women in my province.

Volunteer Opportunities. The Unity Women's Desk depends on hundreds of Moravian women volunteering in more than 20 countries to help empower women. We ask that all our scholarship recipients agree to spend at least 10 hours each academic year volunteering to help the ministry. Please check which kinds of volunteer work you might be interested in. Check as many as you like. *

Participating in a Facebook group for UWD Scholars in your field (nursing and medical studies, pastors, teachers, business and finance etc)

Interviewing another UWD scholar and sharing an article or video introducing her - for our website or Facebook page.

Gathering research on one of the UWD Focus Areas (Violence against Women, Education, Entrepreneurship, Women in Ministry, Health, Parenting for Justice)

Translating letters or flyers from English into my language.

Translating letters or flyers from my language into English.

Acting as an assistant to the UWD Program Coordinator for your province.

Giving a presentation about UWD to my home congregation or school or at a women's conference.

Helping assist other UWD scholars with technology - if they are not familiar with setting up a gmail account, using email, uploading documents etc. Would you be willing to help someone who speaks your language by answering questions on the phone?
