Eligible drivers will have upgraded their TX1, TX2, TX4 or Mercedes Vito to an EV black cab by the end of 2021. By EV black cab, this means a Nissan Dynamo or a LEVC eTX. Drivers who upgrade will receive the subsidy in 12 monthly instalments after completing a target number of jobs on FREE NOW and who accept on-car stickers from FREE NOW. If you rent and are unable to take on-cab stickers, please register your interest and get in touch with us, we will be able to discuss your eligibility further. The target number of jobs for the £2,000 subsidy is subject to change starting with 25 monthly. If the number of jobs does change, you will be informed prior to the start of that month. The Driver job target will rise by a maximum of 8 each month initially - to be reviewed after the first 3 months and then based on mobility and demand levels.
