IME's Heritage Month Planning Committees - Interest Form
The Inclusion & Multicultural Engagement (IME) office is looking to create inclusive Heritage Month Planning Committees for the next school year! Anyone (students, staff and faculty and allies) are welcomed to take part in the planning committees. 

Please let us know if you'd be interested in taking part/learning more by completing this interest form.

Time commitment: 4-6 weeks prior to the heritage/history month, an IME staff member will reach out and lead committee meetings with hopes to properly prepare and plan for the month of celebration. 

Sept/Oct: Hispanic Heritage Month (committee meetings will begin around July/August)
Oct: LGBTQIA+ History Month (committee meetings will begin around August)
Nov: Indigenous Peoples' Heritage Month (committee meetings will begin around September)
Jan/Feb: Black History Month (committee meetings will begin around October/November)
March: Womxn's History Month (committee meetings will begin around January)
April/May: Asian Diaspora Pacific Islander Heritage Month (committee meetings will begin around February)

Why get involved?? Honor your heritage, learn more about a heritage (could be yours or another), give back, create awesome events, meet awesome people, have your voice be heard and gain professional experience!
