By applying for a position as DISDHMUN Student Officer, you confirm that you
• are fluent in the English language
• understand the your assigned responsibilities
• agree to carry out the requested tasks
• have contacted your MUN Director and expressed your interest in applying

TASKS
• Write a website "Welcome Letter/Introduction" about yourself and include a professional looking picture
• Research your committee topics extensively and carefully read your co-chairs' reports
• Make sure that you thoroughly understand the mechanics of resolution writing and are able to explain them.
• Use THIMUN parliamentary procedure effectively i.e. to facilitate good debate
• Work with your co-chairs on methods to stimulate productive debate and motivate delegates
• Be well versed in the UN system and Charter

All StOff applications must be accompanied by a formal letter of motivation and a written recommendation from your MUN Director.

Also, if you have taken part as a Student Officer at a previous conference and had to write a research report, please feel free to email such an example to mun@disdh.nl . (NOT MANDATORY)

In addition to completing the form, applicants’ MUN Directors must email a written letter of recommendation for each applicant directly to disdhmun@disdh.nl . Please address all your questions to that email.

Please note that your MUN Director/Advisor will be cc'd on all correspondence regarding the missing of a research report(s) deadline. Therefore, please stick to deadlines.

The deadline for the submission of the application is June 24.
