Creation! VBS, August 3-8, 2020 (virtual only).
Come learn about the beauty of all creation, and our God who created the whole world! Together we'll learn, grow in faith, and have fun!
Join children from all across The Upper Perkiomen Valley and beyond in a virtual Vacation Bible School, August 3-8, 2020. Each day of Creation! VBS will explore one of the 7 days of the creation story found in the book of Genesis. There will be a new video released each day to explore the day's theme. Songs, Bible stories, activities, crafts, games, prayer, and snacks await! Our mission project is taking good care of Mother Earth! So each day comes with an easy-to-do environmental tip!
The week will kick off with a Zoom Meet and Greet so we can all learn the Creation! VBS theme song, "God Saw That Everything Was Good," and for everyone to see who will be journeying with them throughout the week! We'll meet again at the end of the week for a closing Zoom Sing-A-Long to sing all the songs we've learned during the week together! (You must register in order to receive private access to the Zoom link).
Each day's video will be about 20-30 minutes long, and provide 2-3 hours of content and things to do! Pause the videos between each section to do the corresponding activity, or break the content up throughout the day! You choose!
All of the week's suggested supplies and snacks will be sent to email addresses provided in this form. We tried only to use things likely found at home already!
If you are willing, please take pictures of everyone participating in Creation! VBS, and send them each day to the email address
creationvbs@newgoshucc.org throughout the week! A very special slideshow will be put together that all participating churches will include in their Sunday worship on August 9th! Help us show case how awesome our kids are! (By submitting pictures, you are granting permission for the child's face to be shown in online worship services).
