VIP Band Booster Board Nominations 2023-2024

PRESIDENT
Oversees board and general booster meetings, chairs budget meetings, and participates in ALL planning for ALL Tiger Regiment related events. Serves as primary liaison between Staff and VHS Administration.
VICE PRESIDENT(S) -   Please select 2 nominees.
Assists the President in all related duties. 
SECRETARY(S) - Please select 2 nominees
Responsible for maintaining accurate minutes for all board and booster meetings, liaising
with VHS front office staff, and assisting the Band Director with collection, verification, and filing of all
department, school, and district-required forms (medical forms, releases, transportation authorizations,

etc).
COLORGUARD VICE PRESIDENT(S) - Please select up to 2 nominees
Works with Staff on maintaining our Color Guard ensemble, organizes memberships for ensemble competitions, costume and equipment purchasing, and coordination with the Logistics VP to facilitate equipment repair and upkeep and logistical requirements for travel to events. The Color Guard VP will also assist in planning for our annual hosted Color Guard competition at VHS.
DRUMLINE VICE PRESIDENT(S) - Please select 2 nominees
Works with Staff on maintaining our Drum Line and Concert Line ensembles, organizes memberships for ensemble competitions, costume and equipment purchasing, and coordination with the Logistics VP to facilitate equipment repair and upkeep and logistical requirements fortravel to and from events. The Drum Line VP will also assist in planning for our annual hosted Drum Line competition at VHS, if applicable.
JAZZ VICE PRESIDENT
Works with Staff on maintaining our jazz ensembles, including festival applications and
entry fees, and helps organize other jazz evens as they arise.
UNIFORMS VICE PRESIDENT
Organize and size marching band uniforms for the Tiger Regiment. Assist students with fittings and assigns uniforms. Place orders for band polos, windbreakers, and shoes. Maintain upkeep and cleaning of uniforms.
COMMUNICATIONS VICE PRESIDENT
Oversees all communications, both from the Board and from Staff. Assists the Webmaster in updating the official Tiger Regiment web site with current information, disseminates information and forms, and sets up and maintains online volunteer sign up sheets. Responsible for maintaining the Tiger Regiment social media.
TREASURER
Prepares and maintains the VIP budget & financial statements, including general and family donated funds; tracks accounts payable and accounts received; maintains VIP bank accounts; prepares monthly reports for VIP board meetings.
FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR(S) - Please select up to 2 nominees
Responsible for coordinating all fund raising activities and events. Must be willing to maintain ongoing and constructive communication with the Treasurer, the President and other Board members. This position requires significant time commitments but will be assisted by non-board volunteers. A good understanding of the fund raising process as well as an understanding of basic financials is helpful but not necessary.
LOGISTICS VICE PRESIDENT - OPEN
Responsible for overseeing set up, operations, and tear down at our hosted shows, as well as maintenance and upkeep of all Tiger Regiment equipment, including trailers, equipment carts, electrical and lighting equipment, etc. Works with the volunteer coordinator on staffing of events, Blue Crew members, etc.
WEBMASTER
Maintains the official Tiger Regiment website and email platform. Assists with communication and is also responsible for maintaining the official Tiger Regiment online calendar.
