I understand and agree to the following conditions for use of this equipment:

1. Safety/Operation Instructions: Resident understands that the safety of others depends upon them providing AT ALL TIMES correct operation of and the use of the equipment. Resident further agrees that they will not operate any electrical equipment near water.

2. Setup: Resident agrees to follow the provided equipment setup guide. The equipment must be set up on private property and not on City right-of-way. If you want to have an event in a City park you may need to get a Special Event Permit from the Parks Department at (507) 328-2525.

3. Care of Equipment: Resident shall be responsible for any and all damage to any equipment not caused by ordinary wear and tear. “Ordinary wear and tear,” shall mean only the normal deterioration of the equipment caused by ordinary, reasonable and proper use of the equipment.

4. Preparation of site: Make sure sprinklers are turned off at least 8 hours before the equipment is set-up. Make sure there is sufficient electricity within at least 200 feet of the equipment.

5. Equipment Problems: Should any equipment develop a problem or does not function correctly at any time, the resident agrees to immediately cease use of that equipment. Resident shall report any equipment problems immediately to RNeighbors via email at rene@RNeighbors.org.

6. Types of Movies/Neighborhood Etiquette: We recommend family-friendly movies. Please be aware that use of the equipment does not confer any waiver of City noise or use standards. RNeighbors is not responsible for copyright violations.

7. Return of Equipment: The resident agrees to return the equipment by the date/time agreed to at the time of equipment checkout. 

8. I am 18 years or older. I acknowledge understanding of the rules and regulations and shall be responsible for the equipment during the use period.

Waiver of Liability – The Applicant of the equipment shall be in charge of equipment operation, and is fully responsible for operation and care after receiving the equipment. RNeighbors is not responsible for any injuries occurring to Applicant or to any persons using the equipment. Applicant further agrees to hold RNeighbors free and harmless against any claims; and further, RNeighbors shall be indemnified for any and all cost incurred due to claim from anyone, including court costs and attorney fees, and other related costs involving the use of this equipment. Applicant will provide own liability insurance unless otherwise specified. Applicant is responsible for the replacement value of the equipment in the event of theft, vandalism, fire or any act which may damage or destroy the equipment that isn’t normal wear and tear.
