We are aware of the required use of Personal Protective Equipment items that must be provided by the students, as well as items provided by Sabinal ISD.  Sabinal ISD will provide safety glasses, welding helmet, gauntlet style gloves, welding jacket and face shield when needed.  Student is expected to provide a long sleeve cotton shirt, denim pants without holes, tears, etc., clothed-toed work shoes/boots. *
We are aware that ongoing enrollment at Sabinal ISD Welding Jackets P-TECH Academy is contingent upon satisfactory attendance and behavior. *
We understand that a student must commit to continued enrollment at Sabinal ISD Welding Jackets P-TECH Academy through graduation.   *
We understand that a student will follow SWTJC enrollment procedures and policies as courses in the Sabinal ISD Welding Jackets P-TECH Academy will be Dual Credit college level courses.   *

We understand the admittance policy:   In the event over 15 incoming freshman students apply for the program, a lottery will be utilized to determine who is admitted. The lottery is weighted, and targets a population of students that closely mirrors that of the district. Students who are not selected during the lottery are placed on a waiting list. Vacancies that occur after the lottery will be filled from the waiting list. *
