No school can hold office for two consecutive years.
The MSASC Advisory Board and MSASC officers thank the host school for hosting the MSASC State Conference. As a courtesy to them, please adhere to the following rules established by the MSASC Credentials Committee.
No duct tape, only painters tape
No chewing gum indoors
Do not throw items
No balloons
No food or drinks in the auditorium/gym
No posters on sticks
No littering
No more than 10 participants involved in campaign skit presentation on stage
No advisor participation in campaign skit
No music in skits or speeches
Skits/ Speeches must reflect leadership skills: creativity, organization, motivation, public speaking ability, communication skills, etc. Skit/speeches for campaigns should be appropriate and in good taste.
Campaign skits will be judged on how they reflect leadership skills.
The violation of any of these campaign rules will result in either the immediate termination of your school’s campaign presentation or the elimination of your school from the election ballot.
The MSASC Credentials Committee will meet with all schools campaigning for an office prior to the actual campaign presentations. For any questions or concerns about any of the campaign rules, please contact Penny Allen and Dr. Lillian Johnson at msascexecutivedirectors@gmail.com
