Webster Elementary 2-Hour Power Program 2022-2023 School Year
This form will give you a brief description of the many opportunities for your two hour pledge. Check the box under each opportunity where you would like to help. The coordinator(s) will work with you and your schedule to let you help how and when you are able.

These opportunities are not just for the stay-at-home parent(s). We have options to fit EVERYONE'S availabilities and interests. Grandparents and extended family are also welcome to get involved!

Our goal is to have 100% of Webster families contribute two hours - "Many hands make light work!"

Staff Appreciation
Volunteers help with monthly acts of appreciation for our entire Webster staff. Volunteers are needed in a variety of ways, including donating food and supplies, securing flowers for school performances as needed, and helping to set up and clean up the staff lounge during days of staff appreciation events.
Garden Club
Help out with Webster’s garden Club. We need all kinds of volunteers for “dirty” jobs like soil preparation, weeding, tilling, planting, watering, harvesting, and building rain barrels. And also folks who’d prefer to help plan, organize, seek donations, coordinate, keep stats, and assist teachers. Whether you want to dig in the dirt or just like to eat, there’s a job for you!
Race Around Webster (R.A.W.)
The 9th Annual "Race Around Webster" fall fundraiser will take place on Thursday, October 6th. The students of Webster will run/walk a race course around Webster. Students will seek donations for their pledge to participate. Volunteers are needed for the planning committee as well as help with pre-event prep, including race bag and t-shirt prep. We will need MANY volunteers on the day of the race to help with race bibs, water stations, guiding the runners, set-up and clean-up. Join us in continuing the tradition that helps raise funds for Webster while encouraging our kids to be healthy!

Volunteers will assist in populating the Giving Trees located outside of each classroom using post-it notes (provided) and teacher supply request lists.  This will take place in late September so the Trees will be ready for October conferences.
Scholastic Book Fair
The annual Scholastic Book Fair will take place during Fall conferences, November 15 & 17, 2022. This event raises funds for the teachers to buy new books for students to enjoy in their classrooms! Volunteers are needed to help set-up/take-down book fair merchandise and run cash registers during the fair.  Have fun and see what new books are available!
