COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Based on the best-selling book “The Bible Compass- A Catholic’s Guide to Navigating the Scriptures,” by Edward Sri, this course will take an in-depth look at the following questions and topics;

Where did the Bible came from?
Is the Bible Inspired by God?
Is the Bible trustworthy?
How to interpret the Bible correctly?
Knowing God’s story: the 12 periods of Biblical history
Resources for studying and method for praying with the Bible

The course is suitable for those who are new to the Bible or who only have a limited familiarity with Sacred Scripture. By the end of the course participants will obtain a firm understanding of the Bible as a historical document and as the inspired word of God written in human words, enabling them to use the Bible confidently in their journey of faith.
