If you hope to play viola at a youth orchestra, community orchestra or summer festival, etc. after participating in V2V, what is the name of the program?
I understand that participating in the V2V workshop does not guarantee admittance to any V2V partner programs. The V2V participant still must apply to the program as normal. If the V2V participant is accepted as a violinist, our V2V partners have agreed to allow V2V workshop participants to participate in some viola opportunities, such as an extra viola lesson(s) with their resident viola instructor, viola master classes, or playing viola in chamber and orchestral music, at the discretion of the partner program and the participant. *
Do you need to use a trial viola during the V2V workshop, provided free by our sponsor Shar Music? (If so, you will receive further information about how to order one.) *
Do you wish to have an additional Zoom private lesson with one of the V2V teachers after the workshop? The cost is $100 for a 45 minute lesson. If so, please specify which teacher and we will reach out to you after the workshop is over. (No obligation - this is just to get an idea of the number of lessons. Do not pay for lessons until the lesson takes place.) *

I understand that all V2V events will be held online via Zoom. The quality of my internet connection is my own responsibility. A high speed ethernet connection and good quality microphone (such as Blue Yeti) is recommend. Connectivity problems due to the participants connection will not result in a refund. *
I understand that the V2V workshop will include students from ages 9 and up through adults. I will communicate in a courteous manner that is child-friendly. Failure to comply may result in immediate dismissal from the workshop with no refund. *
I understand that the V2V materials may NOT be redistributed or shared with others, and screen shots, screen recordings, etc. are NOT permitted. *
I understand that the time referred to by the V2V workshop is ET zone (UTC -5) which is the same time zone as NYC, NY, USA. *
Participants who have paid the workshop fee may withdraw until Feb 16 for a 100% refund, Feb 23 for a 75% refund, and March 1 for a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after March 1, 2024. *
I understand that after completing this application, I must return to the V2V website to make a payment of $250. Only after I have completed the application and made payment is my application complete. *
