You have been asked to be a part of the research described here. Participation is voluntary.

Summary of the study:
Clarkson University’s education faculty are researching the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the daily lives of teachers. Little focus has been placed on current teachers, and yet, we have heard from alumni and colleagues about the dramatic ways the pandemic has upended your day-to-day lives as well as your careers. We would like to learn more about the impact COVID-19 has had on you so that we may share that information broadly with professional journals, at conferences, and in the media at large.

We invite you to take this survey, Teaching in the Age of COVID-19.  AND, our hope is that you will distribute this survey widely across the country. Please pass the email you received on to colleagues and professional organizations that may reach large numbers of teachers.

We anticipate it will take no more than 10 minutes to complete. You may answer only the questions you feel comfortable answering. You may end your participation in the survey at any time.  You will be asked for your consent to participate at the beginning of the survey.

Thank you for your time and participation. Your responses will help the profession and the country better understand the challenges teachers are facing during this time of crisis.

What to expect:
The survey will take approximately ten minutes to complete. You may end your participation in the survey at any time. If you choose to provide your information at the end of the survey, you may be contacted for a follow-up interview. It is anticipated that the interviews will last approximately one hour and be scheduled by Zoom, for a time that is convenient for your schedule.

If you have any questions about this research, you may contact Professor Snyder (csnyder@clarkson.edu),  Professor Rand (prand@clarkson.edu), or Professor Oppenlander (joppenla@clarkson.edu).
