Thessalos' Trip

"Thessalos' Trip'' is a tour in different local cooperatives and agro-tourism destinations of Thessaly, where all the participants will get in touch with the local Thessalian products and will be introduced to traditional, eco-friendly production methods.Through this experience, you will be informed about alternative eco-friendly occupations, and will form a general understanding on agricultural cooperatives, along with the given opportunity to explore Thessalian cultural and natural heritage.

More specifically, the participants are going to experience a guided tour in:

1) a local „cottage industry“ producing handmade natural soaps and cosmetics from virgin olive oil and 100% pure ingredients
2) a family winery in the vale of Tempe, making wines from organic cultivation
3) „Ampelakia“ village, where the foundation of the world‘s first cooperative took place, and having a stopover at it’s museums to get into the history of this picturesque settlement
4) the „Trinity Farm“, which consists one of the first certified biodynamic cultivations of Greece, and is located in the thessalian plain
5) some of the amazing natural landscapes of Pelion, in Agria, where there will be a stop for lunch by the sea
6) the olive mill of Voliotis family in Pelion
