Community Group Leaders & Gathering Hosts
Community Groups & Gatherings are opportunities for Connect Church to get together and fulfill our mission of connecting to God, to other people, and causes both in Saskatoon and abroad.


COMMUNITY GROUPS
Are you interested in becoming a Community Group leader? Here are the basics:

Community Groups are weekly or bi-weekly and run for 6-12 weeks.

The groups can be:
     -spirituality-based (ie. Bible studies, worship nights, prayer)
     -service-based (ie. local causes)
     -interest-based (ie. candle making, book clubs, hobbies)

We love having a variety of fun activities mixed with meaningful community so get creative!


GATHERINGS
Are you interested in hosting a one-off Community Gathering? Here's what you need to know:

Community Gatherings are one day events that allow for Connect Church to hang out and do something! These can have similar topics to Community Groups, but they allow for a little taste of the Connect Community without the weekly commitment.

It could be something like an all-day sports event, karaoke night, or even a Sunday potluck - it's honestly up to you!

The options are also endless so be creative, the goal is creating community that connects to God, other People and local Causes and there's no reason we can't have fun while doing it!

Connect Church requires CG Hosts and Leaders to have an up-to-date record check.

Co-Leaders
We are better together, that's why it's our hope that we find people to co-lead together. It also provides consistency for the group if someone is sick or has an emergency while also training leaders within our church community and providing people with ways to become further connected.

If you know someone that you can ask to co-lead, then please ask them! It is a way to build community and train other leaders. If you have someone already, great! Provide their information below to be included in the CG emails.

If you need help finding a co-leader, Ashley would love to help find you one. There might be someone also filling out these forms that you could combine ideas with! We will do everything we can to find you a co-leader.
