All school and district rules apply to all school activities held on and off campus, both during the school day and applicable evening functions.  Failure to abide by these rules and policies during the rest of my senior year could prevent me from participating in senior activities and/or the graduation ceremony. *

I agree to pay all debts to Buena High School and/or the Sierra Vista Unified School District and turn in all materials and textbooks prior to participation in graduation.  I understand that I will not receive my diploma until my fees are paid and materials are returned. I will abide by all directions received from school officials throughout the graduation ceremony. *

I will recognize and respect the rights of all participants and observers by demonstrating good behavior before and during the ceremony. *

I understand that I will adhere to the dress code as follows: All participants must wear school-approved cap and gown. GRADUATION GOWNS ARE NOT TO BE DECORATED.   Decoration of mortarboards WILL NOT contain profanities, gang-related writing/symbols, alcohol, drugs, or pornography. As other decorations may be unacceptable please see an administrator by May 5th to obtain approval of your decorations. *

I will not carry anything into the stadium that will disrupt the ceremony.  I agree to be courteous during the entire ceremony and refrain from any activity that is disrupting, distracting, or dangerous.  I further agree to leave the ceremony when asked to do so if I fail to adhere to these guidelines. *

I will check my name through my Student VUE and ensure that the spelling is correct for my diploma. I will contact Mrs. Young (Nicole.young@svps.k12.az.us ) if there are any issues by May 5th. My legal name will be printed on the diploma. *

I understand that if I violate any of the rules listed above or, in the judgement of school officials, violate the intent of this contract, the consequences include, but are not limited to: Removal from the ceremony, Removal from Project Graduation Activities, Referral to local law enforcement agencies *
