Call for Artists - Melrose Wayfinding & Creative Placemaking Initiative
The City of Melrose is seeking artists to create site-specific art installations as part of the Wayfinding & Creative Placemaking Initiative. This is part of a long-range plan to engage with the local community to create public art and to improve the experience of residents and visitors to the City of Melrose.

We hope to commission 3 – 5 projects for completion this summer. Projects may be $1,000 to 10,000, inclusive of all expenses. The Initiative is funded through a grant secured for this purpose.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:
This call is open to those who live or work in Massachusetts, preferably within a 50-mile radius of Melrose.
We request that projects engage with the Melrose community and can pair up as needed.

All materials safe and suitable for outdoor use may be considered.
