2020.06.16 AKCHO Membership Meeting Registration
Program: History is Taking Place
Date: Tuesday, June 16, 12:00 - 1:00PM
Host: AKCHO via Zoom
Location: A comfortable chair

We invite you to join us for our monthly AKCHO Zoom meetings- where we look at different topics, hear from leaders in the field, and connect with each other.

We are at a pivotal time where racial equity advocacy and the COVID-19 pandemic have combined to create a unique time in history. We need to be examining our role as an important part of our communities. While this is a time of reflection, it is also a time of action. We need to decide what role our organizations will take. Three strong community leaders will help us examine what we might do, re-enforce the importance of historical organizations at this time, and challenge us to act. We are honored that these people will join us and share their thoughts. These meetings have some structured presentation; but they also allow the time for everyone to share and/or ask questions.

Panelists:
Enrique Gonzalez- Chairman of MOHAI Board Outreach and Community Engagement Committee
Stephanie Johnson-Toliver- President of the Black Heritage Society of Washington State
Moni Tep- Public Programs and Community Engagement Coordinator at Northwest African American Museum
