We're searching for the kindest, most playful, most enthusiastic people out there to join our summer camp team! Trail Blazers Day Camp operates in Prospect Park, Brooklyn Bridge Park in Brooklyn and in Riverside Park, Morningside in Manhattan. Consistent grouping is vital to our health and safety plan, so a commitment to daily attendance is required. But no worries there -- as you'll soon see, being a Trail Blazers group leader is one of the most challenging and most rewarding things you will experience!

Group Leader - this is our counselor role. You will work directly with a group of children.

Team Supervisor - this is a leadership role. You must have formal experience supervising others. There will be an opportunity on the next page for you to share details.

Program Specialist - this position requires experience developing programs for youth in schools, camps or other areas.

This is a Monday - Friday, 7:45 am- 4:15 pm position, with aftercare shifts 2x/week that extend the day to 6:00 pm. The Prospect Park program runs from June 21 to August 27, which includes Sunday June 27. These dates including training. Campers arrive on June 28! The Brooklyn Bridge Park program run from June 28-August 27, which includes Sunday July 4. Riverside Park, and Morningside Park programs run from June 28-July 23, which includes Sunday July 4. Our day camp locations are in Brooklyn at Prospect Park and Brooklyn Bridge Park and in Manhattan at Riverside Park and Morningside Park. We cannot guarantee placement, you must be willing to work at any location. We will do our best to consider staff preferences. *

As of 5/26 our Manhattan programs are almost full! Folks who are willing to work in the Brooklyn parks will have priority.
