Dramapalooza Student Registration
Register to become an Adaptive Musical Theatre student with Mrs. Lory "Stewy"' Stewart. Attend as many or as few classes whenever you choose. Caregivers are welcome to attend with their students. Financial aid/scholarships available for all! Families with multiple children with special needs only pay for one student.
SATURDAYS at 10 am & SUNDAYS at 1pm. You will get a reminder email at the end of each month to sign up for the classes you want to attend the next month.
1 HOUR CLASS ON ZOOM WILL LOOK LIKE THIS:
CHECK-IN - Stewy will check-in with each student (and caregiver) to see how everyone is doing (SEL Socioemotional Learning) and allow them to share feelings and experiences with the group. We will have everyone muted until their check-in. That way we can all hear each other.
PHYSICAL & VOCAL WARM-UP - Stretching, singing, and dancing to warm-up our voices and bodies. Sing out as loud as you like (as long as your microphone is muted so that everyone can hear the music).
ACTING WARM-UP/CREATIVE DRAMA - Using our imaginations to pretend to be different people in different places doing things, using voice and pantomime.
MUSICAL STUDY - Each week we will discuss and explore one musical. We will learn 1-2 dances to songs from that musical. Each dance incorporates either facial expressions, hand gestures, body movements are a combination of these. Everyone can participate in using their gifts and abilities. Caregivers can assist and dance with their students.
MUSICAL REVIEW - We will review previously learned musical dances.
DANCE PARTY - We will finish each class with a non-musical song dance party like YMCA, Cha Cha Slide, Monster Mash, etc.
ENCOURAGEMENT & GOODBYES TO OUR NEW FRIENDS - We share out and say positive things to each other as we say goodbye until the next class!
WHEN YOU CHOOSE YOUR CLASSES FOR THAT MONTH, YOU WILL GET AN EMAIL WITH A ZOOM LINK FOR THOSE CLASSES.
Classes are $15 each OR get a discount when you pay for multiple classes at one time at only $10 each!  You can even make a donation for another student to be able to participate.
Need financial aid/scholarships? No problem! Just register for the classes for that month and check the box. We don't want anyone to miss out on the fun!
Miss a class? Make it up at the next class.
