Glad you decided to read through Kwanzaa with us!  We've partnered with Rooted bookstore to encourage individuals and families to read each day of Kwanzaa with us! The proceeds from this effort will Support The Black Joy Retreat. The seven principles of Kwanzaa will serve as reading guide as we will read books that teach about or reflect the principle of the day. We are requesting one flat amount of at least $35 per reader. Pull in family, friends, co-workers and allow them to sponsor you and your family as you read through Kwanzaa. Support can also go towards new reading materials that will help you explore each principle of Kwanzaa. Once you pledge your amount per reader, you will receive an invoice with total amount pledged.
