CBC Saskatchewan Creator Network Pitch Form
Please introduce yourself. Who are you, and what kind of creator are you? (filmmaker, YouTuber, TikTokker, writer, poet, visual artist, host, foodie, podcaster etc). what kind of schooling/training do you have? *
What is your story? Who are your characters? Are they willing to be in this story? Have you googled your idea and is it original? *
What kind of video gathering experience do you have? Describe. What equipment do you use to shoot, edit, and create your content? If this is not a video pitch, what kind of experience do you have in the medium you are pitching? *
What are the visuals? These are video-first projects and can be elevated with (animation, illustrations, photos etc). What scenes do you anticipate there will be? If this is not a video pitch, please describe what kind of treatment you are envisioning and what visuals could be incorporated? *
Who is your audience? How is your story relevant and important to young (18-30) and BIPOC audiences? *
Do you have a team working with you? If so, who are they and what do they do? Are there any areas of production you would need help? *
What is the takeaway for your story? What do you want people to learn? How will your storytelling inspire, entertain or enlighten others? *
How many days needed to shoot? *
How long do you think it will take you to complete the project overall? (scripting, shooting, editing etc). What is your availability to work on this project (timing)? *
