Important: be succinct (we have a 100-word limit for each snippet unless stated otherwise), and provide links to outside sources so our readers can find out more.

Images are welcome provided they closely illustrate what is being described. Please send them to jessica@wordsfromthewild.com as a jpg or png file. We recommend a resolution of 72 dpi and 1200 pixels maximum. For any photos showing faces of people, we will assume that you have been granted permission by those people to use them.
