SITLess Adult Study Contact Interest
The SITLess Study is a research project into the relationship between breaking prolonged sitting with physical activity and how adults think. We aim to study the effects of interrupting prolonged sitting with brief physical activity bouts on blood glucose metabolism (blood sugar), and cognitive and brain function in adults.
We are looking for adults between the ages of 21-64 years who are fluent in english, can engage in vigorous physical activity (e.g. can run and/or walk in a treadmill), have a body mass index of ≥ 25, and are free from neurological, metabolic or physical disorders.
