Outdoor Recreation Initiative - General Council Application
The Outdoor Recreation Initiative (ORI) was created in the 2023 General Session by H.B. 224 - Outdoor Recreation Initiative. The ORI will help coordinate state investment in outdoor recreation through the approval of the Utah Outdoor Adventure Commission. Investment priorities will be determined and vetted by Regional Recreation Councils and long-range recreation planning efforts. 

We are looking for interested applicants to participate in an advisory capacity on Regional Recreation Councils. These councils will meet monthly to coordinate recreation priorities regionally. 

General Council terms are intended to last two-years.
