CCPP Transfer Scholar Pathways Application
Thank you for your interest in joining Transfer Scholar Pathways (TSP), a part of the Community College Partnership Programs (CCPP) at UC Santa Cruz. We are housed in the Services for Transfer and Re-entry Students (STARS Office) and funded by the Cultivamos Excelencia Hispanic Serving Institution Initiatives (HSI) Grant.

Transfer Scholars Pathways (TSP) is a year-long program that offers prospective UCSC transfer students intentional support with 1. goal setting 2. career/major exploration, and 3. navigating the path from Community College to UC Santa Cruz.

At this time eligible participants are transfer ready Community College students from Cabrillo, Hartnell, and San Jose City College. 

If selected to participate in TSP, you will:
~Conduct recurring 1:1 with a current UCSC transfer peer mentor
~Get support getting materials ready for the UC Application
~Learn about programs, resources, and services available at UCSC
~Develop personal connections with UCSC faculty, staff, and student leaders
~Explore research engagements, internships, graduate pathways, and career opportunities

Engagement requirements for being a part of TSP are to:
~Engage in monthly check-ins with your assigned TSP Mentor
~Attend as many of the events possible (there are a total of 5)
~Maintain enrollment and good Academic Standing at your community college
~Complete a pre and post program evaluation to assess the programs impact

The application will close on Monday April 29, 2024 at 9 AM. You can expect to hear back by the end of the day on Monday April 29. Please tentatively mark your calendars for the Welcome Event that will be hosted on Friday May 10th at UCSC. Transportation and lunch will be provided!
